Estamos

THEATRE AT SCHOOL:
May 3rd the play "Alexandre The Great" will be coming to school, all
forms will be able to attend.
-
SHOW AND TELL:
Students learn to speak about an object for some minutes, in this
way we encourage Speaking.
-
LIBRARY:
We have a school Library. Once a week each form has an hour of silent
reading. For the little ones the librarian reads a book, then they
choose their favourite and read it! They very much enjoy these activities.
Let´s share some moments...
-
SHADOW THEATRE:
3rd FORM: After reading "The Witch and the Princess" 3rd form pupils
perform a shadow play based on the story. Our shadow theatre consists
of a dialogue and the movement of hand puppets behind a wooden frame
covered with a tracing paper.
-
BULLETIN BOARD:
This board displays general information about Extracurricular
English and every two weeks a different form prepares something to
display.
-
GETTING READY
FOR THE FUTURE: Every year, several of our students sit
for the FCE and CAE Cambridge International Exams. Since we consider
preparing children for the future of the utmost importance.
-
WORKSHOPS: Starting
last year, we have introduced Workshops. Twice a year after the exams,
the students have the oportunity of learning new skills while practising
the language. Some Workshops: Puppets, Little Gourmets, Pottery, Pappier
Mache masks, Embroidery, Pappier Mache Planet Earth. It was a big
success and the kids were delightedly involved. Many thanks to the
teachers who gave all their energy to this big project!
